After completing my undergraduate degree, I worked on an ESRC-funded project on the relations between morphological awareness and reading comprehension, led by Professor Kate Cain (Lancaster University) and Professor Xiuli Tong (The University of Hong Kong). We measured the contributions of morphological awareness to reading comprehension in children aged 6-13 years old, and demonstrated its importance across the reading comprehension ability range.
